Grilled Caprese sandwich, Smoked mozzarella, Basil chickpea pesto, Sourdough

 We’re using the classic combination of tomato, mozzarella, and basil to create a very grown up “grilled cheese”. This “Caprese” sandwich begins with sliced tomatoes, smoked mozzarella and our basil chickpea pesto. We brushed the multigrain sourdough with roasted garlic oil and place it on the grill to melt our house smoked mozzarella cheese.
