Seared Black Tiger Shrimp with Citrus, Coriander, Charred Onion and Chili


Serves 6


24 Uncooked Shrimp 16-20 Size, Peeled & Deveined

3 tbsp Soy Sauce

2 clove Garlic, Thinly Sliced

1 tbsp Citrus, Coriander and Charred Onion Rub

1 tsp Chili Flakes

1 bunch Parsley, Chopped

¼ cup Olive Oil

½ Lemon, Juiced

¼ cup Unsalted Salted Butter


In a large bowl combine soy sauce, garlic, Citrus, Coriander and Charred Onion Rub, and chili.

Toss the shrimp with the marinade and let stand for at least 15 minutes.

Place a large sauté pan over high heat and add ¼ cup of olive oil.

When the oil is very hot (just about to smoke), add shrimp and sauté until just cooked through (roughly 2 minutes per side).

When cooked, remove the pan from direct heat, stir in lemon juice, chopped parsley and butter to create a sauce.
