2013 Domaine Queylus Pinot Noir

Domaine Queylus is located atop the Niagara Escarpment in Ontario’s renowned winemaking region, the Niagara Peninsula.

The winemaking story began in 2010 with their first vintage. Selecting only varieties which we have identified as perfectly adaptable to our vineyard’s complex soils and microclimate, they aim to craft premium cool-climate wines from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot.

A beautiful example of a Niagara Pinot wit old world characteristics.

Medium body and BRIGHT acidity. Dusty notes of plum, tobacco, plum and autumn leaves.

Finishes with a beautiful sweet spice and prune. This wine was wild fermented and spent 16-18 months if french oak.

Great match with smoked duck, mushrooms, truffles, pork fat, cured meats... saussison sec!
